Hiring · Pattison, Fulshear, Katy, Weston Lakes
You did tree work before. The boss yelled, the pay came late, nobody taught you anything, and the trees got butchered. You left. Fair. This is the other kind of tree company. Read this page, then tell us your name and number. Lucas calls you himself.
Tree work. Real work. You start on the ground: drag brush to the chipper, load the trailer, rake and blow a yard until it looks better than when we got there. It is hot in August and early in the morning all year. We will not pretend otherwise.
Here is what is different. You are taught. Every day on the job you learn something a tree company is supposed to know: why that cut goes outside the collar, why we do not touch a live oak in April, how to read a lean, how to tie the knot that holds a man. On your phone, in the Tree King Academy, in your language, with a quiz and points at the end of every lesson. In a year you know more about trees than most "arborists" in Houston.
And the boss knows trees. Lucas is a third-generation arborist who has done this since he was seven. He climbs, he runs the saw, he inspects every finished job himself. You are learning from the guy who is in the tree with you, not from somebody in a truck on the phone.

Nobody at Tree King is "the help." Every person is on a ladder with a name, lessons to pass, and sign-offs from Lucas in the field. You always know where you are and what gets you to the next rung. Pay goes up with the rung. Lucas tells you the numbers on the first call, not a web page.
Day one. Drag, load, rake, chipper safety, PPE, the yard clean-up that gets us the review.
Rope and saddle. Rigging, lowering limbs, working a bucket, running the saw aloft.
Runs a job start to finish without Lucas on site. Talks to the customer. Signs off the yard.
ISA certification, paid for by Tree King when you are ready. Diagnoses, estimates, the whole trade.
Above the Arborist rung: the Tree King Certification, earned in the field.
Name and phone. That is all. Lucas calls you. No résumé, no portal, no password.
Your number goes to Lucas and nobody else. Esta página en español.
Yes. Ground work is taught on the job and in the Academy. Showing up, listening and working hard matter more than experience on day one.
Fine. The Academy, the app and Nadya all work in Spanish. Lucas will get the call translated if he needs to. Lee esta página en español.
Lucas tells you on the first call, by the day and by the rung on the ladder. It is paid on time, every time, and it goes up as you climb the ladder. We do not put numbers on a web page because every person starts in a different place.
No. Tree King provides the gear and the truck. A driver's license and a way to get to the yard in Pattison help a lot.
Tree work follows the weather and the season. Lucas is straight about hours on the call. People who prove themselves get the first call every morning.
We do not call your last boss. We watch you work for a day. That is the reference.
Call Lucas. Say you saw the Work at Tree King page.
