Tree Care Program · young live oaks

A year of care. One plan.

The live oak the builder planted will outlive your house, if somebody looks after it for the first ten years. Nobody does. This is the plan that does: the right work, in the right month, from the prices already on our homepage, with a text when it is time.

TREE KING: WE ESTABLISH YOUR YOUNG TREES CROWN 👑

The safe pruning window opens in November. Book now and your oak is on the list the week it opens.

What a year looks like

Four visits, each in the month the tree actually needs it. Between visits, nothing to remember: every tree is in your Tree Passport and you get a text a week before we come.

MarchSpring fertilization. Deep-root feeding as growth starts; mulch ring checked, stakes and straps off.
JuneHealth check. Oak wilt, chlorosis, pests, root stress, a look at the drainage. Storm season briefing.
SeptemberFall fertilization. The second feeding, when roots grow fastest in our heat.
Nov–JanStructural pruning in the safe window. One leader, spaced limbs, canopy raised. Cuts sealed.

And when a storm comes

Program yards are first on the list. The morning after a hurricane or an ice storm, before the phone starts ringing, we already know which trees we are checking and where. That is what being on the plan buys you that nobody can buy after the storm.

Why young trees, why now

Nearly every new home in Tamarron, Jordan Ranch, Cross Creek Ranch and Firethorne came with a young live oak in the front yard. Grown fast, planted fast, then left alone. By year five most have two leaders racing for the top with bark trapped between them. By year twenty that fork is what splits in a storm and lands on the roof. Twenty minutes of pruning in year two, and a feeding so the tree has the strength to seal it, prevents the crane in year twenty. See it for yourself on the oak simulator.

What it is not

It is not insurance. It is not a contract with a cancellation fee. It is not a plan that sends somebody out to find work. It is the care a tree needs, done when it needs it, by people who will tell you when it needs nothing.

What is in the plan

1

Two deep-root feedings

Spring and fall. Our clay soils and the builder's compacted fill starve a young oak. Fed trees seal cuts faster and shrug off the stress that invites disease.

2

Structural pruning, safe window

November to January only, outside oak wilt season. One leader kept, permanent limbs chosen and spaced, canopy raised off the sidewalk, drive and street.

3

A real health check

An arborist looks, in June, at every tree on the plan: leaf color, wounds, fungus, insects, soil, drainage. You get the findings in plain words and a photo.

4

Tree Passport

Every tree on your property recorded: species, size, what was done, what is next. It stays with the house. Buyers love it; so will you in ten years.

5

Texts, not cold calls

A week before each visit you get a text with the day. Reply to move it. No one calls you to drum up work.

6

First after the storm

Program yards get checked first after a hurricane, a freeze or a straight-line wind event. Before the phone lines jam.

Questions

I have big old oaks, not young ones. Is there a plan for them?

Yes, priced per tree from the same list: crown cleaning and deadwood on the Nov–Jan visit, the same feedings and health check. Mention it in the form and Lucas will set it up.

Can my neighbors join?

Please. Several yards on one street on the same day is how we keep the prices where they are. Give the form their names, or send them the link.

What if a visit finds something serious?

You get what we saw, what it means and a price from the list, and you decide. Nothing on the plan ever turns into surprise work.

Do you do this outside Weston Lakes and Fulshear?

Katy, Brookshire, Pattison, Memorial and West Houston too. If we already drive your street, you are in.

Questions first? Call.

Lucas answers the phone himself. Say you are asking about the Tree Care Program.
