Gone below ground level
One stump in a front yard or a row of them along a fence line. We grind them below grade so you can lay sod, replant or just mow.
Stumps in Fulshear come in two sizes. In the newer neighborhoods they are small: a builder tree that died, or an ornamental that was cut down and left. On older properties and acreage they can be several feet across, left behind after a big oak or pecan came down.
We grind both. The stump and its main surface roots are taken down below ground level, and the grindings are either raked back into the hole or hauled away. Tree King is based in Pattison, a few miles north of Fulshear.

Sprinklers and buried lines. New neighborhoods have irrigation, cable and sometimes drain lines running through the front yard. Tell us where your sprinkler heads and any invisible fence are, and we make sure public utilities are located before grinding.
Replanting in the same spot. If a new tree is going in the same place, we grind deeper and wider and you should clear out the chips, because a fresh planting does poorly in a hole full of grindings.
What is left afterward. Grinding leaves a mound of wood chips mixed with soil. It settles over a few weeks. We can leave it to top up the hole as it settles or take it away.
Sprouts. Most trees do not come back once ground. Chinese tallow and some elms can sprout from the roots, and we will tell you if yours is one of them.
We grind stumps across Fulshear: Cross Creek Ranch, Cross Creek West, Fulshear Lakes, Polo Ranch, Fulbrook, Jordan Ranch, Tamarron, Weston Lakes and the properties along FM 359 and FM 1093.
We grind stumps left by other companies too. If you have several, or a neighbor has one, doing them in one trip costs less per stump.
Below ground level, deep enough for sod or seed to grow over. If you are replanting a tree or building in that spot, tell us and we will go deeper.
