Most tree companies will not put a number in writing until they are standing in your yard. We publish ours. These are the same prices shown on our home page, with the Iran War Discount of 50% off every service.

Removing an ordinary yard tree falls under standard tree care. A very large or dangerous tree that has to be lifted out is a crane-assisted removal. We look at the tree with you and confirm the price on site before any work starts. The visit has a flat $10 fuel fee, credited to the job when you book.
Two trees the same height can cost very different amounts to remove. A pine standing alone in an open pasture can be dropped in one piece. The same pine leaning over a house, a pool and a power line has to come down in dozens of small, carefully rigged pieces — sometimes with a crane. The work, time and risk are completely different.
That’s why honest tree companies quote on-site, after looking at the tree and everything around it.
1. Size. Taller trees with wider trunks mean more cutting, more rigging and more wood to haul.
2. What’s underneath. Houses, fences, pools, driveways, gardens and lines all mean pieces must be lowered by rope instead of dropped.
3. Access. Can equipment reach the tree, or does everything go by hand through a gate?
4. Condition. Dead, cracked or decayed trees can’t always be climbed safely, which may call for a bucket truck or crane.
5. Crane work. A crane adds equipment cost but can make large, dangerous removals faster and safer. See crane tree removal.
6. Cleanup and stump. Hauling everything away and grinding the stump are usually part of the quote — make sure they’re included when comparing prices.
Make sure each quote covers the same things: full removal, haul-off of wood and brush, stump grinding (or not), and cleanup. Ask whether the company is insured — if a worker is hurt or your house is damaged, you don’t want that to become your problem. And be cautious of out-of-town crews who show up after storms.
